Stand Up For Gaza
Stand Up For
Gaza
Thu June 6th • Vicar Street, Dublin
Tickets on sale now
After a hugely successful fundraiser at Whelan’s in November of last year, Cherry Comedy have announced a second Stand-Up For Gaza gig, this time at Dublin’s iconic Vicar Street.
A stacked line up of some of Ireland’s biggest comedy names will take the stage, including Foil, Arms & Hog, Alison Spittle, Shane Daniel Byrne and Gearóid Farrelly. Some of the biggest names in Irish comedy will come together for this special evening, with all net proceeds going directly to the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund.
The Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund support the only pediatric oncology/children’s cancer treatment ward in Gaza, and provide free medical care to thousands of injured and ill children in Palestine.
This gig was made possible by Irish Artists for Palestine, a coalition of artists fundraising to meet the urgent medical and humanitarian needs in Gaza. Alongside the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund, Irish Artists for Palestine raise funds through events for Medical Aid Palestine, who have worked for decades providing community healthcare in the region, and the Palestinian Red Crescent’s ambulance crews, who continue to respond to emergency situations despite the targeting & killing of Palestinian paramedics.
Tickets are priced at €29 including €1 booking fee and are on sale via ticketmaster.ie.
Cherry Comedy’s first fundraiser Gaza sold out in record time, and we imagine this event will follow suit. Book now for an amazing night of Irish comedy, providing vital funds to those on the ground in Gaza.
