For Those I Love announces Vicar Street headline show for the 11th of December 2026.

Off the back of not one but two mesmerizing sets at All Together Now last month, For Those I Love have just announced a Dublin headline play for Vicar Street later this year. The multi instrumentalist, producer & visual artist will also be joined by Black Nylon, who have also recently been earning themselves high praise across the Irish music scene.

David Balfe, the songwriter, producer and visual creative behind Dublin’s For Those I Love

has become one of Ireland’s most acclaimed contemporary voices, merging local storytelling

with electronic music to explore class, grief, modern life and the friendships that underpin it.

His self-titled 2021 debut earned widespread critical praise along with the Choice Music

Prize, as his follow up Carving The Stone turned its gaze more critically inward, with a darker

twist. 2026 saw Carving The Stone re-imagined as a strictly dance floor record, performed as

a once off, but teasing a return to the warehouse sonics that inspired his debut.

His live shows combine a love for intimate performance with the theatrical, bringing together

tales in a Dublin brogue and rattling club numbers.
