With the imminent announcement of their new album “Valuables”, Enemies will play their biggest headline show to date at Dublin’s Vicar St on December 18th.

With a lifespan of almost ten years behind them, Wicklow 4-piece Enemies continue surprising listeners by constantly tweaking and perfecting their own brand of intelligent, pop-infused rock. Not content to fit neatly into any particular category or sub-genre, the band are consciously evolving their sound into something that goes beyond the labels of math or post-rock.

Enemies have become synonymous with powerful live performances featuring intricate, yet melodic guitar lines played over groove-focused bass & drums.

‘’It's a swollen behemoth of rhythms and hooks. Jagged guitars bob and weave amidst minimalist harmonies - think of (very) early Foals or early Everything Everything - with gossamer-thin layers all combining to create a richly textured piece of atmospheric pop." – The Line of Best Fit

“…even when there aren’t lyrics it’s hard to fight the feeling that the songs are all about friendship, impossibly romantic love, and beating the worst possible odds." MTV

"An impressively pitched, precisely paced and downright enjoyable soundtrack to the summer" – Irish Times

Tickets priced €20 go on sale this Friday 23 September at 9am through & usual outlets nationwide.
